This was a fun prompt! Just FYI, my husband is NOT the target of my anger! Nor is anyone I love. Morale is just so low where I work and this is how I felt after a meeting last night. I could not get out it of my head
(prompt words: symphony, oasis, convenient, A Touch of Perfect)
Even though I went to bed mad, And woke up grumbling The golden light of A sunrise, Teal and Sienna, A symphony of brilliance greeted Me When I Woke On this Island Oasis. And even though Crazy, angry thoughts Wait at their Convenience, Lurking, Hiding The are held at bay By the fall air, Crisp, cool, Promises Of Warm Fires, Blankets, Sweaters And hot drinks. Angry voices drowned By the the morning sounds, Buzz of a boat engine, Rhythmic, steady Floats over the water Little busy planes Take off with a Roar, surprisingly Loud And then, A prism, Refracting white Against the sky. This morning, This sky, This air, A Touch of Perfect.
