28th poem in the month of April. The prompt…. “rivulet.”
The soil has The most lovely smell. Rich, dense, loamy. I gently place the tender leafed start Into a nest of Loose earth, Tuck it in well. I Finish with A sprinkle of water That beads And runs Rivulets Until slowly, slowly, the fertile soil Drinks in the Water, giving Off a faint Earthiness, That smell I love.
Lovely poem 💞💞
